Lemonlight is a video production and marketing agency headquartered in sunny Marina del Rey, with offices in Chicago, New York, DC, Austin, and Miami. We are a growing startup of 30 that's on a mission to create high-quality affordable video content nationwide.

We're looking for a seasoned Content Strategist with experience building a multi-channel approach that offers valuable content on behalf of our brand. The right candidate will be highly motivated, resourceful, organized, with high attention to detail. You must be able to multi-task and quickly pick up new concepts, while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude.

Your Role:

  • Build a wide range of content types, from data-driven blog posts and infographics to thought-leadership pieces, interviews with key clients, emails, guides, short and long-form videos, and more.
  • Be responsible for the marketing content calendar and coordinate with other channel owners to ensure their content needs are met and that content efforts are aligned with the broader company goals.
  • Partner with industry veterans to craft and deliver monthly webinars.
  • Define content success criteria and metrics, and provide routine performance reports on a regular basis. Own planning and production of marketing content, while setting and hitting frequent, fast-paced release dates.
  • Dig deep into our analytics tools to identify insights to learn what’s working, inspire new content strategies, and identify underserved areas requiring additional focus or investment.

You Have:

  • Relevant experience and a consistent track record of building exciting content across a variety of mediums, with knowledge of the latest trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional grammar; details matter to you.
  • Well-honed organizational and time management skills--you have a bias for action and consistently achieve or exceed your goals.
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts and how to craft content that ranks organically, gets shared, and drives quality traffic that converts.
  • Experience creating search-optimized content across multiple channels.
  • Hands-on experience using analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Hubspot, and Facebook.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with B2B products or services preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Hubspot experience is a huge plus.
