Production Assistant

We are a Los Angeles-based commercial production company seeking highly qualified & experienced team members around the country with 3+ years of experience in commercial, documentary, and/or narrative production. They'll partner with our digital production team to create video content for clients big and small in a wide array of industries.

At Lemonlight, we focus on handling all logistical details, so you can show up on set and do what you do best.

• We handle the entire client management process, including sales, pre-production, and post-production. Your responsibility would only go as far as your time on set.
• We’re sticklers for details. We’ve produced more than 5000 videos, so we know exactly what you need to be successful.
• We work with your schedule, helping you fill any open days you have.
• We work in volume! We shoot 150 videos per month, so we have steady work in most of our markets.

Requirements:

• Someone warm and personable; a strong communicator with enthusiasm for their craft.
• Customer service is our utmost priority, so it's imperative you're patient with clients.
• Prior experience working on a production set.
• Knowledge and understanding of the duties of the camera department team.
• Prior grip or AC experience is a plus, though not required.

On-Set Responsibilities:

Most productions include a two-man team: you and the cinematographer. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting the lead shooter during interviews by monitoring the camera.
• Assisting the lead shooter with B-roll by moving gear and lights.
• Helping to wrangle and communicate with talent.
• Setting up and wrapping equipment.
